I’m Chris
An unapologetic design-collaborator based in Wales.
Based in Wales but shaped by global experience, I design with a systems-first mindset. I love taking complex, worldwide challenges and turning them into clear, scalable design patterns that work for every user.
I’m at my best when I’m connecting the dots between business goals, technical reality, and what users actually need. To me, design is a team sport—I love partnering with engineers and product folks to turn messy ideas into polished products that actually ship.
I’m currently at Pizza Hut Digital, designing the future of their global e-commerce experience. My focus is on the Discovery squad, where I use systems design to help the platform scale across international markets—finding clever ways to bridge functional gaps and create a more seamless experience for millions of users.
I’m at home in remote or hybrid teams, and I’m a big believer in using workshops and fast prototypes to keep everyone on the same page. Beyond the pixels, I enjoy the human side of the job—mentoring other designers and ensuring that the team actually enjoy working together.

My approach
Understand
I design to meet user needs
Anyone can make something; far few can define why its been made.
Empathise
I understand key differences through empathy
Everyone is different and has different needs, culturally and cognitively.
Keep it simple
Don’t make the users do the hard work
Complexity is the enemy of usability. Good design hides this from the user.
